I would like to enter for my uncle and aunt (Zane & Lindy) as a surprise to them and their kids. It is their 14th wedding anniversary on 30th and I think they deserve this more than anyone else. They have the most wonderful hearts and always put everyone else before themselves and their own needs. They have 2 step children and 2 children (total 4 kids between the both of them...2 have just left the house). They are the only 2 breadwinners in the family and despite not being well off their whole lives and battling every month to make ends meat and look after my cousins and put them through school and do their best to give their children a happy and stable home and opportunities where they can, they have also opened their home to multiple families that were struggling so that they could get on their feet again and got nothing in return for their help. They are also very big animal lovers and have taken in dogs and cats (that other people didnt want) and given them homes and love. They are always willing to help where they can despite not really being in a financial position to do so or will give their shirt off their backs to help somebody in need and never expect anything in return. They have given so much of themselves to other people and don't ever get a lucky break or rewarded for their kindness. My uncle has been wanting to take my aunt somewhere special for their anniversary for as long as I can remember but land up not doing anything or going anywhere as they cant afford it. I am afraid the same thing will happen again this weekend and I would love to surprise them with this gift to celebrate them and their 14th anniversary together with their 2 children. There is nothing better than the gift of giving and I would love it if Inkwenkweziec Inkwenkweziec could give them this special gift as they are really and truely deserving of such an experience. Thank you!

While taking a drive through the Reserve, Greg Gilfroy came across this stunning bird. It is called a Denham's bustard and is a large bird in the bustard family. It breeds in much of sub-Saharan Africa. It is a species of open ground, including agricultural land, grassland, flood-plains and burnt fynbos. It is resident, but some inland populations move to lower altitudes in winter. (2 photos) ... See MoreSee Less

A flight of Barn Swallows congregated here in our Reserve in numerous trees before they departed to Europe. A tell tale sign that winter is beckoning. Greg Gilfroy captured this spectacular moment on camera while he was on a game drive. (3 photos) ... See MoreSee Less
